On a scorching night in June, our favorite Rififi bartender Lindsey got burned. Her apartment was robbed, and in addition to her purse and some of her roommates' valuables, the thief took the most personal possession a photographer can have: her camera. It retails for $5000, but its value to Lindsey is priceless. So her friends and fellow booty shakers are getting together to throw the "Bottoms Up Benefit" Saturday, July 28th at Rififi. The strip-tease will start at 10pm sharp and feature the bump and grind of 15 of New York's finest burlesque performers from Starshine Burlesque, Sweet & Nasty Burlesque, and Pinchbottom Burlesque with DJ Meat Mistress and Jack Fetterman on the decks. Then, at the stroke of midnight, the show will be followed by a get down and dirrrrty dance party "Chaser" featuring DJ's Alex English, Marjorie, and Twig the Wonderkid! So get out your real and virtual wallets and your dancin' shoes cause this party is going to put the ass in assistance!
